Todays thoughts of products received

Today I received the LumiQuest Soft Screen and tried it out for a few quick shots and found it to work very well. Below is an unprocessed image just for an idea of how it works. The unit did need a drop of trimming to fit in the hotshoe of my camera.

I also received Trek-Tech MagMount and was totaly amazed how strong this magnet is, I had to really force it to remove the camera from the mount. I wish I had found this before I went through all the other mounts. It is very well made and should perform well for a long time.

On another subject, the Tamrac Velocity 8 Sling Pack and my Monopod and the mounts I made for the pack to carry the monopod. Below is a photo of the straps I made from parts bought at my local Eastern Mountain Sports shop. The simple thing cost $4.00 US.
Today I ordered a pouch to connect to my Tamrac Velocity 8 which will carry my Archos 504 and a few other items. I should have it within a week.
